Evolution Moving Company Publishes Its Full Dallas Hourly Rate Card Instead of Quoting Prices by Phone

Evolution Moving Company lists every Dallas crew rate, from $160 to $375 per hour, on its website so customers can price a move before anyone calls them.

DALLAS, TX, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Evolution Moving Company has published its complete Dallas hourly rate card on its website, listing the exact crew prices it bills on local moves rather than holding those numbers back for a phone call. The rates run from $160 per hour for a two-mover crew to $375 per hour for a five-mover crew, with a two-hour minimum plus travel time. For anyone comparing local movers in Dallas, the published card removes the first obstacle most customers hit, which is finding out what a move actually costs before giving out a phone number.

The rates are organized by home size. A studio or one-bedroom is quoted at $160 per hour with two movers. A large one to three-bedroom home runs $220 per hour with three movers. A three to four-bedroom home is $310 per hour with four movers. Five-bedroom homes and specialty jobs are $375 per hour with five movers. Local Dallas moves typically total between $640 and $3,750. A 2.5% fee applies to final balances paid by card, which is also stated on the page rather than added at the end.

The company also publishes what the hourly rate already includes: blankets and moving pads, shrink wrap and tape, disassembly and reassembly, dollies, tools and straps, and fuel. There is no separate truck charge, stair fee, or long-carry fee. A sample not-to-exceed quote is shown alongside the card, running a three-bedroom Uptown to Lakewood move with four movers over six hours at a capped $1,860.

Moving quotes are usually withheld because the final price depends on conditions a company cannot see over the phone. Evolution’s position is that the hourly rate is a fixed input and should be public, while the variables that change a total should be documented in writing. The page lists those variables plainly: multiple flights of stairs, long carries, restricted freight elevator windows, difficult parking or alley access, full packing, specialty or heavy items, storage between addresses, peak dates, and extra stops.

The published rates are the starting point for a not-to-exceed quote rather than an open hourly meter. A Dallas estimator walks the home by video or in person, builds a room-by-room inventory, and records stairs, elevator windows, parking, and building rules. That walk-through sets the cap. Once the number is written, ordinary delays on I-35E, US-75, or the Dallas North Tollway, a slow freight elevator, or a longer carry than measured do not change the invoice. The price moves only if the scope moves, and any adjustment is quoted and approved in writing before the work begins.

Evolution Moving Company has operated in Texas since 2013 and runs its Dallas work out of a North Dallas branch on Greenville Ave. Crews are W-2 employees who complete a two-week training program and pass federal and state background checks. The company reports a 1% damage claim rate across more than 1,200 surveyed moves and says 96% of its Dallas work comes from referrals and repeat clients. It holds a 4.9 rating from 1,323 Google reviews, 4.7 across 271 verified reviews on moveBuddha, and a 9.48 out of 10 score with Great Guys Moving, which places it among the top Dallas movers on that platform.

Anyone evaluating a moving company in Dallas should book two to three weeks ahead for a standard local move. Month end, late August, and holiday weekends fill four to six weeks out. Certificates of insurance for high-rise and managed buildings are issued at no cost, usually the same business day.
